Here is the Risk Assessment that we have drawn up for our next playing day, Saturday 19th February. We revise the risk assessment each time that we are going to meet. The main points that you need to know if you are planning to come to one of our playing days are as follows:
- We are asking everyone to carry out a Lateral Flow Test the day before the meeting. The test kits are free and easily obtainable, and you can carry out the test at home and get the results in half an hour. If you get a positive result, please do not come.
- Please sanitise your hands on entry
- Please wear a mask when moving around the building, unless you are exempt
- We will ensure as much ventilation as possible in the hall, so please wear lots of warm clothing, but if the weather is chilly it may not be possible to have the doors wide open all day.
- We will be serving hot drinks from the hatch. Please stay out of the kitchen (except for the two people responsible for refreshments)
- To minimise the danger of passing the virus around on cups, please bring your own mug.
- Please don't come if you have symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone who has symptoms or has tested positive. And please let the Secretary know if you develop symptoms up to 10 days after the event.
We'll do our very best to keep everyone safe, but of course we can't guarantee that the day will be 100% Covid-safe. Please observe the rules and keep yourself and everybody else safe.
